No photos were allowed at the event (so as not to show the bad optics of the few who came), EXCEPT when Levine insisted SHE be recorded …through her uncontrollable, veiled tears she tried to “share” a “breaking news” endorsement for the candidate. So unraveled was she that Tim Fazenbaker had to do it for her, as she was clearly shaken by….an endorsement. Oh, did I mention she is also an actress too??
A second event with the same two candidates only brought 20 people, and again, no photos of the “throngs” of attendees.
Pretty sure both candidates are done with Levine’s nonsense, as her drama-inspired antics spilled over into a failure of not one, but TWO major fundraising events. Sadly, both candidates lost soundly in the primary, far behind any other candidates in their respective races.
…OK, back to the claims on the “you’re not an idiot because you are listening to me” show…….
She claimed both on air and in sworn testimony before a committee in the MD House that she is a direct descendent of a Prime Minster of Israel, who, by the way, rebuilt Israel with her father. Well, that’s a significant claim. But who?
Well….her "direct descendant" of a Prime Minister is Moshe Sharrett who was deposed from Israel! Who is this Moshe Sharett? According to the article : “Moshe Sharett a representative of the Labor Party in the Socialist International. In 1960 Sharett was elected by the World Zionist Congress as Chairman of the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency.” You can check the article here.
His son, Yaakov "Kobi" Sharret became an anti-Zionist who encouraged people to leave Israel. Alternatively, you can do a Google search on “Moshe Sharett controversy”, and you’ll dive into an deep rabbit hole…not a person I would be touting on my resumé unless I was conflating my own self-importance, not thinking anyone would actually do a fact-check.
She claims she created some kind of COVID response system for (she’s in the health field too, dont’cha know) for Gov. DeSantis, and established it in several other states.
Her “interviews” were entirely scripted; she was actually reading the questions to several “guests”. Nothing sounded spontaneous or genuine. Seemed to spend more time talking about herself than actually engaging with an audience that may be listening for alternatives to pedestrian and pedantic content. They were likely disappointed.
Her first call:
Terrell in Owings Mills: a long-time liberal, Terrell has been a regular caller to WCBM for years, trying to get a rise out most of the hosts, both past and present. They all effectively challenge Terrell’s nonsense to knock him off his proverbial perch. Ms. Levine.…not so much. She kept quiet, not even to serve up light rabbit-jabs at him (“court of law! court of law! I read about it” nonsense), with no pushback, no clue. She demonstrated just how out of her element she is in this field, with no ability to offer a scintilla of ideological (or factual) pushback to elicit an engaging dialog, one of the major keys of entertaining an audience on the radio!
Her other “guests”? She never really exposes who they really are, but refers to them as “experts in their fields”
- Richard Levine: financial expert (her father), Oh, she also claims they built Israel.
- Tim Fazenbaker: Elected Official (Central Committee); by the way, she refers to herself as his Chief of Staff (which is not a position within the BCRCC).
- Adam from Dundalk: Adam Rutter, another personal friend of Levine’s, who also ran for County Executive - as a Democrat. He also does video work for Fazenbaker and Levine.
- Ken Fitch and Deb Hill: “expert” lawyer, representing Ken Fitch’s group, United We Matter; a group of retired Maryland State employees fighting to retain their prescription benefits. They fought successfully to temporarily get back the prescription drug benefits, but the judge dismissed the case because there was never a contract. Levine talks to the two of them nearly daily, They opined why illegals were getting health care as part of SB705.
- Barry O’Connell: Nice guy, former Republican who has a FB page where Levine posts semi-regularly.
- Jacqueline Levin (?): an “online dating and relationship expert”…..her sister.
She also meandered with equal aplomb her inability to choose between Gov. Ron Desantis and President Donald Trump, contradicting herself between her support of the two.
The fact that Fazenbaker posted on FB (correction: Levine; she has access to the account) that we should email WCBM to request she get a full-time gig is laughable. Many great hosts are substitutes for YEARS before becoming a permanent host. At this point, she simply does not have the skillset or the demeanor to connect to a radio audience. She would be better served just talking about herself for 3 hours. There would be no listeners, but at least she can agree with herself in a single-sided echo chamber.
Many in the political arena in Baltimore County and Maryland are distancing themselves from her toxicity, so that may be why you see her outside of the county at other events, and is even now being asked NOT to sing at their events any longer, as she keeps talking AFTER her job is done. or offending other attendees. Can’t seem to “stay in her lane”, if you will. A total lack of self-awareness, as you’ll see following.
At one fundraiser I attended, entitled “Keep Christ in Christmas”, she finished her assigned role, and then chose to tell the attendees about Hanukkah. One attendee, who admits he never goes to fundraisers, said of her “She’s all about herself, isn’t she?” He may never return. Also, I spoke to the featured speaker at the same event, and he commented during the conversation he was aware of her “game”.
Another fundraiser came with some fireworks as well. She was going on about Israel with one attendee where she told him that “there is no Palestine”, which offended him, as he is a Palestinian doctor. He later told the head of the event that she made him uncomfortable, and that he can no longer come to his event after that encounter. He genuinely wanted to hear about the issues.
Still others with whom I am currently involved have told me they are distancing themselves from Levine as well. Being uninvited to a scheduled engagement is further proof that the Levine disease is spreading.
Sorry, the only thing more terrifying than the indie film she did, or the over-rolling of her “R’s” in her butchering of the Ave Maria, or bloviating in front of a radio mic, is that she also “announced” at Fazenbakers’ last fundraiser that she will run and be in the Congress with him…..now, THAT’S terrifying.
It’s clear that none of what she is doing shows any level of altruism, but narcissism.
The Levine Latrine should leave the building….just be sure to flush on the way to Florida, Montgomery County, or wherever she claims to reside next.
