Remember Marylanders United? You know, the fake slate that funneled campaign funds meant to boost Republicans into misleading ads and attacks on actual conservatives. Well, they’re back—kind of.
The rebranding is in full swing, now calling themselves the “Maryland Freedom Caucus.” Spoiler alert: it’s just the same seven-person echo chamber trying to cosplay as a majority while dressing up moderate mush as conservatism. Nice try, folks.

Marylanders United is the so-called grassroots group that's more about smoking grass than having any roots. Created to pull the wool over your eyes in the last (and likely 2026) election season, this group is a masterclass in deception.
Their star players? Although Matt Morgan resides as Chair, he is controlled by two financial donors: ex-Minority Leader Nic Kipke and ex-House Whip Kathy Szeliga, both booted from Republican Caucus Leadership for precisely these kinds of shenanigans.
These folks took campaign funds meant to bolster the Republican Party and instead used them to mislead and attack conservative Republicans.
